What items will I buy?

Scrap Gold metal

Absolutely anything made from gold is of interest to me.

  • Broken or unwanted jewellery

  • Gold coins (Sovereigns, Ducats, Krugerrands, Maples etc…)

  • Fob medals, lodge medals, awards & trophies

  • Dental gold or medical gold items

  • Alluvial flake or gold nuggets

Silver Scrap metal

Most people have some amount of silver scrap. Most often in jewellery and in coins.

  • Broken or unwanted jewellery

  • Pre-1946 New Zealand or English coins, Pre 1964 Australian coins

  • Most countries early silver coloured coins are solid silver (purity varies)

  • Pocket watch cases, flatware and large pieces of sterling silverware

Vintage watches

Pocket watches and wrist watches are of interest. Whilst I seek out rare brands and complicated watches, many old watches have metal or parts that aer usable, even if they are broken.

  • Collector watches like Rolex and Omega

  • High end watch brands. Vacheron, Patek, Cartier, Jaeger and more

  • Complicated watches. Chronograph, Moonphase etc…

  • Sports and Dive watches from Rolex, Omega, Seiko, Citizen

Coins & Banknotes

There is always collector demand for rare numismatics and I love to find these items for my colelctor customers! Whilst most coins are common I look for rare varieties which are sometimes found among the ordinary old change!

What I’d like see:

  • Pre-1950 World coins

  • Pre-decimal banknotes and pre-1950’s world notes

  • Collections

Medals & Badges

All sorts of medals and badges can have value but primarily I am looking for:

  • Military medals and any uniform badges that go with them.

  • Lodge medals

  • Sporting medals

  • Agricultural medals

  • Any silver or gold trophies or awards!

Bullion & Alluvial

Any pure metal items or clean alluvial gold I pay a premium for.

This includes:

  • Stamped .9999 refinery bars

  • Bullion coins. Sovereigns, Maples, Kruggerands, Eagles, Nuggets

  • Clean alluvial gold. Flake or nuggets

Maori Artifacts - Taonga Tuturu

I am a licensed dealer of Taonga Tuturu (Maori Artifacts) and I am on the lookout for:

  • Stone tools like adzes, chizels, pounders, fishing sinkers

  • Carved wooden pieces. Waka huia, taiaha

  • Clubs and other weapons

  • Tiki and other pendants or adornments

  • Cloaks, kete or other textile pieces

Antiques and Curios
